Your curators

Nick is based in Barcelona after 15 years living in Brazil. He loves off-the-path travel (holiday in Chernobyl, anyone?), kitesurfing and photography. Nick geeks out on science & engineering innovations that drive deep changes in human behavior. He finds deep happiness in places like rural Mozambique, learning to cook crab curry from a local woman with the most genuine smile you’ll ever see.

Dan is based in the San Francisco Bay Area though originally from Philadelphia. He loves listening to full music albums, trail running, and growing weird ingredients to cook with. He is obsessed with helping humans help themselves, particularly toward economic independence. He geeks out on climate and agriculture technology, as well as discovering the next great bottle of bourbon.
